Welcome to the Math Matters blog. You'll find material related to our course as well as mathematical items that I hope will interest, intrigue and amaze you.

All kidding aside, your main interest in math at this moment is probably to learn as much as you can to do as well as you can in my class. Hopefully there will be value in what you learn beyond the grade you receive from me. This site is intended to provide you with another resource to help you achieve that goal. You might even have some fun along the way.
Our revised calendar is the first item we need to talk about.
MATH 1044 and MATH 1054 will both be taking Test #1 on Friday Feb. 13. I expect to complete the new work this Monday and use next Wed. as a review day. A review assignment has been posted for each course.
